Unzip the belly and take the pack out
The warm pack lives in a zip pocket underneath. Always remove it completely before heating. Never microwave the cow itself.

Warm it in short bursts
Heat the pack on its own in the microwave, following the time on the pack's instructions, in short bursts rather than one long go.

Touch-test, then tuck it back in
It should feel comfortably warm, never hot. Slide it back into the belly, zip it up and hug.

Or chill it for summer
Pop the pack in a sealed bag in the fridge for a cool cuddle on hot nights. Do not freeze it.
No pack needed at all? Leave it out. The cow is still evenly weighted and just as huggable at room temperature.
